Labels Compatible for Afinia L501
The Afinia L501 color label printer is an advanced dual-purpose label printer which may be outfitted with either a dye printing head and dye-based inks or a pigment printing head and pigment-based inks.
The Afinia L501 Pigment version includes the pigment printing head and pigment ink cartridges. Therefore, it's setup for printing lasting industrial labels right from the box.
The Afinia Label L501 is compatible with label rolls with a 3 inch core. It has a maximum roll diameter of 8 inch and a max print width of 8.5 inches. Matte label rolls are to be used with dye based ink, while high gloss labels are to be used with pigment ink.
Matte Labels
These matte labels are made to be compatible with Afinia L501 Pigment Inks. If you are using the dye based ink, the glossy labels in the next section will work with them.
Matte labels are paper-based labels using a sleek, white surface. The general purpose, permanent adhesive adheres attractively to cardboard, metals and most plastics. Matte paper labels are highly water and abrasion resistant.
The translucent material includes a frosted appearance with a great matte sheen. Matte labels are popular due to their versatility. They may be luxurious or natural appearing based on the design, use, and placement.

Glossy Labels
These glossy labels are made to be compatible with Afinia L501 Pigment Inks. If you are using the pigment based ink, the matte labels in the above chart will work with them.
High gloss tags are paper-based labels using a sleek, shiny and bright white coating. The general purpose, permanent adhesive adheres attractively to cardboard, metals and most plastics.
